If you are moving in or out of a non domestic property you will need to let us know in writing not more than two weeks before the event. Please email us using this form
If you are moving in we will require:
• The address of the property in question
• Your full name (if you are the occupier) or the full registered company name.
• The date you became responsible for the property i.e. the start date of your lease
• The date you moved in and started trading from the address.
• Your contact telephone number
• Your contact address
If you are moving out we will require:
• Your account number & or the address of the property in question
• The date you removed all stock/goods from the property
• The date your liability for the property ended i.e. the end date on your lease/surrender of lease
• Your contact telephone number
• Your contact address (to send your closing bill and any overpayment of Business Rates that may be due to you).
If you are leaving a property empty, but you are still entitled to occupy (for example you still hold the lease) you may still be liable to pay empty rates. Contact us for more details.
