Join us to enjoy two craft activities over two hours, run by friendly experienced workshop hosts.
Essential Oil rollerball - Hosted by Katy Beck-Hill
Aromatherapy can help our mental health. Katy will demonstrate how sense of smell can be influential in your feelings and mindset.
Make a coptic stitched notebook or pen pot/trinket tray/dice tray - Hosted by Helen Barry
Coptic binding or Coptic sewing comprises methods of book binding employed by early Christians in Egypt, and used from as early as the 2nd century AD to the 11th century. The term is also used to describe modern bindings sewn in the same style.
Venue:
Brock's Corner, Roche Close - off of Rochford Square
Staff and trainees from Badger's Den will be on hand throughout the evening selling hot and cold drinks!
This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund via Rochford District Council. All events will have a certain amount of tickets that are Pay What You Can. If you can afford to pay full price please leave this option available for other members of our community who can't. Pay What You Can tickets will be released in August.
We believe in sharing the real value of creative events. Without funding to run this event covering all costs, a ticket to each individual session would cost between £20 - £25 and we would have to sell at 100% capacity.
