It may be summer, but if you are a business already thinking about recruiting to Christmas temp roles, or you are expanding your business and have job opportunities available – apply for a free stall to exhibit at our Jobs Fair taking place next month.
Rochford District Council, in partnership with Rayleigh Jobcentre, will be hosting the Rochford District Jobs Fair on Thursday 12 September, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Ashingdon & East Hawkwell Memorial Hall.
Local businesses and training providers are invited to join us on the day to promote jobs, training courses, and speak face to face with local job seekers. This event is a great opportunity to find new talent, increase your company's visibility and network with other local employers.
The event will welcome hundreds of local jobseekers, providing them with the opportunity to meet local employers with current or future vacancies, and find out about training opportunities available.
Cllr Michael Hoy, Chair of the Economic Development, Regeneration and Tourism Committee at Rochford District Council said: "We want to support our businesses to employ local people, which in turn helps people have a better work and life balance when you take out a long commute. By partnering with Rayleigh Jobcentre to host a Rochford District Jobs Fair, we are helping local businesses to connect with job seekers. We encourage all local organisations to take part in this event, as it is a valuable opportunity to support the local economy, foster employment opportunities in the district, and network with other businesses.”
Training providers are also invited to book a stand, catering for people who are looking for a career change or to get back into work after a break.
