Rochford District Council is proud to announce that they have been awarded silver in the RSPCA PawPrints Awards for Licensing of Activities Involving Animals, recognising our Licensing teams outstanding commitment to animal welfare.
This prestigious honour underscores our continuous efforts to provide exceptional animal welfare services.
The RSPCA PawPrints Awards, the only scheme of its kind, celebrates local authorities and public bodies for their pioneering work in animal welfare across England and Wales. Councillor Andrew Cross, Chair of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee at Rochford District Council, said: “The Council takes the issue of animal welfare extremely seriously and we’re delighted to have added to the awards we have received in previous years from the RSPCA. It is a testament to all the hard work that officers are continuing to carry out to ensure that standards of animal welfare are maintained to a high level.”
Lee Gingell, public affairs manager at the RSPCA, added: "We are thrilled to recognise Rochford District Council with the silver award for Licensing of Activities Involving Animals in this year's RSPCA PawPrints Awards.
“Their commitment to animal welfare is truly commendable and reflects the high standards that the PawPrints awards aim to celebrate. By winning this award, Rochford District Council has demonstrated outstanding dedication to protecting, promoting and enhancing animal welfare, and we hope their achievements inspire others to strive for excellence in this vital area."
