Rochford District Council are undertaking a review of all empty properties across the district. This is to determine whether properties remain empty or have recently become occupied.
The Council have made a commitment to bring empty properties back into use as they could provide much needed housing in the district. Assistance, offered by the Council, could also be financially beneficial to empty property owners. Help may be available from the Empty Homes Officer who analyses the reasons why properties remain empty and considers options for bringing long-term empty properties back into use.
