Our aim is to support, promote, develop and enable Rochford District's voluntary sector in providing effective services to meet the needs of local people.
Volunteers are essential to our communities resilience and wellbeing as demonstrated by the fantastic response from residents who came forward to support our District's most vulnerable residents during the 2020 Covid-19 Lockdown by giving their time to the Rochford District Community Response Hub. The Hub is still active and supported by volunteers. If you want to find out more about how you can support contact the RRAVS (Rochford & Rayleigh Association of Voluntary Services).
In the related content you will find information relating to our main local voluntary organisations and some other useful links.
If you are a voluntary or community group, you can get financial help (grant funding) from the Councils voluntary sector grant scheme to deliver services and/or projects in the Rochford District. The application process can be found in the 'In this section' area on this page.
