In October 2020, Rochford District Council entered into a contract with GB Partnerships (Rochford) Limited to deliver the Council’s Asset Delivery Programme. The goal of this partnership was to implement a long-term regeneration programme that would boost the local economy and enhance community facilities, while reducing future costs for Rochford District Council.

After careful consideration of various factors including the national economic situation and changes that have impacted local authorities delivery of regeneration projects, which have led to the programme in its current form becoming unviable for both parties, it has been mutually agreed that the project would not progress. Therefore, on 25th October 2024, Rochford District Council and GB Partnerships (Rochford) Limited reached a mutual decision to terminate the contract.
